Use the ServiceCore Mobile App to send ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) text updates to customers before arriving on site. This helps customers know when you are on the way and keeps everyone aligned on arrival timing.
Before You Start
Here are a few things to know before you continue:
- ETA texting must be enabled for your account.
- The job must have a site contact with a valid phone number that can receive text messages.
- ETA texting may not be available on all accounts or plans.
Send an ETA Text
You can send ETA texts from your Schedule or from an individual job.
Send ETA Text from Your Schedule
From your Schedule:

Tap “Actions.”

Tap “Get Directions and Send ETA”, “View on Map and Send ETA”, or “Send ETA Text.”
When you select one of these options, the ETA text is sent for the next incomplete job on your schedule based on your route order.
TIP: Use this option when you are following your route in order.
Send ETA Text from a Job
From your Schedule:
- Tap the job.

Tap the job’s “Actions” (three dots) menu.

Tap “Send ETA Text.”
TIP: Use this option when you need to send an ETA for a specific stop that may not be next on your route.
Sending ETA updates helps customers know when you are on the way and reduces missed connections on site.
