Register for SMS Campaigns

Before ServiceCore can send automated text messages to your customers, your business has to be registered and approved through a federal compliance process called 10DLC. This is a one-time requirement for all Pro Plan accounts that want to use text messaging.

The process typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. Once you’re approved, a dedicated local phone number gets attached to your account and ServiceCore uses it to send texts on your behalf.

If you have questions about what 10DLC is and why it’s required, check out our FAQs About 10DLC Numbers.

Before You Start

Here are a few things to know before you continue:

  • To see if you have access to this feature in ServiceCore, please check out this article on user permission levels.
  • SMS text messaging is only available on ServiceCore’s Pro Plan.
  • Your Account Owner should start and complete this process. It should not be done by other user types.
  • The compliance review takes 2 to 4 weeks on average. There’s no way to speed it up or escalate it.

Required Items for Registration and Approval

The registration process requires the following. Missing any of these is a hard blocker and your submission cannot move forward without them.

  • EIN (Employer Identification Number): This must match the name and number on your IRS paperwork exactly.
  • Company Website: Your site must be publicly accessible, use https, and display your legal business name and address. A Facebook page or social media profile will be rejected.
    • Your business name must appear in the URL (e.g., PortaPottyPros.com).
  • Privacy Policy URL: This must be hosted at a publicly accessible web address.
  • Terms of Service URL: This must be hosted at a publicly accessible web address, separate from your Privacy Policy.
  • Company Email: This must use a registered domain (e.g., support@portapottypros.com, not @gmail.com) and be listed on your website.

Please Note: Your legal business name, address, and EIN must all match exactly. Punctuation and capitalization count. Copy your business name directly from your IRS paperwork to be safe.

Start the Registration Process

Your ServiceCore implementation project manager, customer success manager, or sales person will send you a link to the enrollment form. To complete your registration, just follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the enrollment form link sent to you by your ServiceCore contact.
  2. Fill in all required fields using your business information. See the field guide below if you have questions about a specific field.
  3. Submit the form.

Once your completed form is received, ServiceCore’s team will review your submission and handle the compliance process with the carrier registry. You’ll be notified when your account is approved and ready to go.

Please Note: Use the enrollment form link your ServiceCore contact sends you and don’t use a generic link. The form your contact sends is pre-filled with key account information and helps correctly match your submission with your account.
