Customer Portal: User Access Restrictions
With this release, we have made the following updates:
- Prevent Self-Removal of Portal Access: Site contacts can no longer remove their own access from the customer portal.
- Prevent Self-Deletion of Contact Information: Site contacts can no longer delete their own contact information from the portal.
Updates to Transaction Details Pages
With this release, we've refreshed the transaction details tables for the following pages:
- Invoice Details (View Invoice)
- Credit Memo Details (View Credit Memo)
- Estimates Details (View Estimate)
- Refunds Details (View Refund)
The updates include the following:
- Added SKU (aka Short Code) to the table
- Split out description to another row, where it only appears if one is present
- Added a badge for invoice tax (with hover text), if one is applied
Fixes
Apple Maps Directs You to Wrong Address: Apple Maps recently released an update to how they are translating latitude and longitude values to street address causing errors in routing to specific addresses. With this release, we have added the site address to Apple Maps along with the GPS coordinates in our request for directions to Apple Maps to improve the likelihood you are directed to the correct address.
New Roles - Coming Soon!
In a future release, we will be adding 3 new roles as options when setting a user's role. These new roles are intended to reflect the more job-specific nature of certain aspects of your business. The new roles are:
- Order Taker: Limited access, can view and/or create Customers, Jobs, Rentals, Invoices, Estimates and Record Payments, with no access to the Schedule tab or Settings.
- Dispatcher: Limited access, can view and/or edit Schedule, Jobs, Sites, Rentals, Contacts and Operations Reports, with no access to the Accounting tab or Settings.
- Billing Staff: Limited access, can view and/or edit Accounting/Invoices, Customers, Services, Estimates, Payments, and Accounting Reports, with no access to the Schedule tab or Settings.
