Multi-Yard Inventory: Transfer Pick Up Jobs

Transfer Pick Up jobs function like the first part of a standard Delivery job, except they do not have an association to a Customer, Site, or Rental.

Overview

  • The Transfer Pick Up Job will display the name and count of the Products being picked up
  • The Transfer Pick Up Job will display information about the From Yard
  • For Itemized Inventory, the Transfer Pick Up Job will not specify which units are being picked up
  • For Itemized Inventory/Product(s), the driver can select the serial numbers of the units they are picking up either manually or use the barcode scanner

Completing a Transfer Pick Up Job

Transfer Pick Up jobs can be completed either from the ServiceCore web app or ServiceCore mobile app.

Completing a Transfer Pick Up job from the web app

  1. Navigate to the Schedule
  2. Select the Transfer Pick Up Job
  3. Click the Complete Job checkmark
  4. If you are using Itemized Inventory, select he serial numbers you are picking up
  5. Click "Mark As Done"

Completing a Transfer Pick Up job from the mobile app

  1. Find the Transfer Pick Up job on your schedule in the mobile app
  2. Tap on the job
  3. Tap "Start Job"
  4. For itemized inventory scan or select the desired serial numbers
  5. Tap "Complete Job"

Note: We do not allow Transfer jobs to be marked with a status other than Complete from the mobile app. If a user is attempting to complete a Transfer job with a status other than complete they will receive an error message. This is enforced because we want to ensure your inventory is moved how you need it and since the driver is in the yard any discrepancies should be resolved efficiently.
