Overview
The Products pages allow you to view all of your Products (both Itemized and Bulk), Product Stats, any Yards that are associated with the product, and dive deeper to view Product Details.
Products Page
The information displayed in the table on the Products page may look familiar to you, that is because it is the same information that was (and still is) presented in Settings under the Inventory>Products tab.
- Sort by, Filter by, and Search by all function as they have within Settings
- Both Itemized and Bulk Products are displayed
For users utilizing Multi-Yard Inventory, there is now a “+” expand icon on each row.
- Clicking on the plus icon will expand the row showing you the count for the selected Product across your Yards
- All Products & Inventory default to having a Yard value of Unassigned
- We will get into how to assign Products and Inventory later
- From the Products tab, you can click to view more and edit both Product Details.
Why Do Products Have a Default Yard of Unassigned?
By default, we assign all Products and Inventory a Yard of Unassigned. We do this because we do not want to make any assumptions about where your inventory is, or mistakenly associate inventory with the incorrect Yard. To avoid having an overwhelming experience while ramping up with Multi-Yard Inventory, we do allow you to assign Products/Inventory from the Unassigned Yard to a Rental. When scheduling the pick up job to bring the units back from the Rental, you will select a Yard, and those units will no longer be associated with Unassigned, but be associated with the Yard they were returned to. Product Details
When you click on either the Product Name or the Actions button from the Products table, you will be brought to the Product Details page. From here, you can view high level availability information for the Product, view and edit basic product information, and for itemized inventory view associated Inventory Items and select to view Items details. To Edit Product Information:
- Click the Pencil Icon in the top right corner of the "Basic Information" section
- Make any necessary edits
- Save
