Updates to Transaction Forms
With this release, you will notice a refreshed experience to the Create & Edit workflow for some transactions. This release includes updates to the Services and Surcharges sections of Create & Edit Credit Memos, Refunds, and Estimates. These changes were made as part of a bigger refresh of the user experience, to align closer with common accounting software, and to make room for exciting new features like line item taxes! In the coming weeks, similar updates will be made to One-Time Invoices and Recurring Invoices. For more information about these updates, check out this Knowledge Base Article.
Updates to Action Buttons
With this release, action buttons on the Schedule job pill now reflect the permissions of the role the user has. For example, Tech-Billing will now see more than just the View Job button on the Schedule job pill since that role has more permissions than just View Job.
Mobile App - Updated Route KPIs on Homepage
With app version 9.2.28, we have added additional Route KPIs to the Homepage of the mobile app. On the Homepage, drivers will now see the number of stops, total drive time, and number of miles in their route. These values match what you see on when selecting a driver from the Map view of the Schedule. We have also added the count of Exchange jobs to be displayed next to the count of Pick Up, Delivery and Service jobs on the route.
Mobile App - Offline Token Validation
With app version 9.4.28, if you have a valid session (logged in within the last 24 hours), you can now "login" to the ServiceCore mobile app without a network connection. This covers instances of app crashes, force closing the app, the batter on your device dying, and other reasons you may be taken out of the mobile app. However, if you choose to log out of the mobile app, you will need service to login to the mobile app.
We strongly suggest that you end your day by logging out of the app, and log back into the app on your next use to avoid the risk of having your token expire while offline.
Fixes
Removing Users From Schedule - Error: With this release, we resolved an issue where some roles were unable to remove users from the Schedule.
Job Duration Overwritten when by Default Duration when Editing the Job: With this release, we resolved an issue that caused a user set job duration to be overwritten by the default job duration if the job is edited. Now if you edit a job with a job duration that you set, it will remain when editing the Job.
Mobile - Allow mailto QR Codes in Barcode Scanner: With mobile app version 9.4.28, we have fixed an issue that cause the barcode scanner to throw an error when scanning a QR code that contained a mailto directive.
Proration Setting Creating Double Line Items: We have fixed an issue where the proration setting was erroneously creating duplicate line items for some companies.
Cancel Button Redirecting to Incorrect Payment Form URL: We have fixed an issue where the Cancel button on the Record Payment form was causing a routing error.
Refund Process Using "Check" Method Incorrectly Refunding to Credit Card: We have fixed an issue where refunds processed using the "check" method were incorrectly refunded to the customer's original credit card.
