How to Use the Updated Bulk Reassign Tool in ServiceCore

The Bulk Reassign tool in ServiceCore has been updated to make it easier to change the date of jobs in a series, whether you’re reassigning just one job or all future jobs in a repeat series. This article will guide you through the new process for using the Lasso Tool on the Map View and reassigning jobs from the Schedule Day View.

What's Changed?

In the updated workflow, jobs are now grouped by repeat series instead of job type. This change allows you to update a repeat series in bulk, similar to the process for creating or editing repeat jobs on the Job Details page. You can now easily update the start date and apply changes to "This and All Following Jobs."

Important Tips

  • When changing the To date at the top of the pop-up window, make sure that the From date for each series is not earlier than the new To date.
  • If you change the frequency (like switching from weekly to biweekly), double-check that the updated schedule fits your needs before finalizing the reassignment.
  • Changes made using "This and All Following Jobs" will affect all jobs in the series that occur on or after the selected date.
