Add New Customers and New Sites to Estimates

With our release on September 5, 2024, you can now easily add new customers and new service sites directly from the estimate creation page, streamlining your workflow and ensuring all necessary details are quickly and accurately captured. This enhancement makes it simpler to get accurate information on the fly without interrupting your estimate creation process. 


How to Add a New Customer to an Estimate

  1. Search for the Customer: 
    1. Begin typing the customer name in the search bar.
    2. If no matching customer is found, select "Add New Customer" from the dropdown. Alternatively, you can click "Add a new customer" located below the customer search bar. 
  2. Enter Customer Details: 
    1. The "Add New Customer" modal will appear. Here, fill in all required and desired customer details such as name, email, address, and any additional information. 
  3. Save the Customer:
    1. After filling in the details, select "Save and Add New Customer" to create the customer. 
    2. The newly added customer will automatically be selected and auto-filled in the customer field on the estimate form.

How to Add a New Site to an Estimate

  1. Search for the Site: 
    1. Begin typing the service location in the site search bar.
    2. If no site matches, select "Add New Site" from the dropdown. You can also select "Add a new site" from the option displayed below the service location search bar.
  2. Enter Site Details:
    1. The "Add New Site" modal will pop up, where you can fill in the necessary site details, such as address and any additional information relevant to the service location. 
  3. Save the Site:
    1. Once the details are entered, select "Add New Site" to create the new site.
    2. The newly added site will be automatically saved and auto-filled in the service location field on the estimate form.
