With our release on September 5, 2024, you can now easily add surcharges to estimates, giving your customers a more accurate reflection of total costs and improving the overall transparency of your estimates. This update makes it simple to incorporate additional charges directly from the estimate creation page.
How to Add a Surcharge to an Estimate
- Locate the Surcharges Section:
- On the estimate creation page, you will now see a new "Surcharges" section.
- Add a Surcharge:
- To add a surcharge, start typing in the Surcharge Search Bar.
- From the dropdown, select the surcharge you wish to apply to the estimate.
- Enter Surcharge Details:
- A modal will appear where you can enter the required surcharge details.
- After filling out the required fields, click "Save".
- Review the Updated Estimate:
- Once saved, the estimate summary will automatically update to include the newly added surcharge, showing the adjust total with surcharges factored in.
