09/12/2024 - Reduce White Space on Invoice PDF, Display Refund on Invoice, Show Drivers with No Jobs Defaults to On, and Fixes

Reduce White Space on Invoice PDF

With this release, we've considerably reduced the amount of white space on the invoice PDF. Given the amount of variability around the settings of what can be displayed on the invoice, the amount of line items per page may vary. Below is a breakdown (with all settings enabled and disabled):

  • Fit 5 line items before a page break with all the variables present (mini-aging, external message, pay online, descriptions, etc). This is the same number of line items with the same settings that we could fit in the old PDF style before the update to the new PDF design.
  • Fit 8 line items before a page break with descriptions present in all line items, and no external message, pay online or mini-aging
  • Fit 13 line items with no external message, description, pay online or mini-aging (This was previously 11 line items in the old PDF style before the update)

Display Refunds on Invoice

We're making some workflow improvements to refunds! One part of the improvements is to make it easier to see if there's a refund associated to the invoice, when viewing the invoice. Now, you'll be able to see if there's a refund associated to a payment in the payment table on the invoice! The refund number is hyperlinked and the refund amount is displayed right next to it for ease of use.


Show Drivers with No Jobs Defaults to On

With this release, we have updated the "Show Drivers with No Jobs" toggle on the Schedule to default to being On and have the selection persist across page view and sessions. This behavior will now match the persistence behavior of our other filters on the Schedule. 


Fixes

Batch billing preview NOT capturing all selected invoices when generating 100+ invoices - We fixed an issue where not all of the selected invoices were generated during batch billing if the batch was over 100 invoices.

Credit card autopay doesn't work when copying a recurring invoice - We resolved an issue when copying a recurring invoice, that the auto-pay checkbox wasn't visible on the newly copied invoice

Company Logos 273+ px wide are Cut Off on Invoice PDF - We resolved an issue where company logos were being cut off on the invoice resulting in a scroll bar being present on the PDF.

Refund PDF not displaying last 4 of CC (Refunded Payment Method) - We fixed an issue where the refund PDF was not displaying the refunded payment method.

Soon, you will be able to have a streamlined way to void a payment when creating a refund and optionally applying related services when creating a refund!
