10/10/2024 - Mobile App Updates, Company Default Tax & Fixes

The items mentioned below will be available on or after October 10, 2024. To see these new features, please perform a hard refresh in your browser and update your mobile app to the latest version (9.4.32). Here's how to Get the Latest Version of ServiceCore.

Mobile App Updates - Available as of 10.16.2024

The mobile app release has been delayed, we will update this article and the ServiceCore Connect Facebook Community as soon updates are available.

With mobile app version 9.4.32, we have made a few updates to the job cards on the Homepage and made small update to the header and footer of the Job Details page.

On the Homepage, we have re-introduced the Emergency Job icon and based on your feedback, we have added highlighting to the Time Window on a job to make it more apparent to drivers. We have also added the unit count icon that is on the schedule, showing the total number of units on the job. As a reminder, the number displayed next to the porta potties icon is the total number of units on the job regardless of product type, and not just a count of portable toilets. If it a non-rental job with no associated units, the number of units will be hidden.

On the Job Details page, we have added the Customer Name to the header where it will display next to the Job Name or Job ID. We are adding the Customer Name to the header, to allow us to make more room to give more weighting to the pertinent information a driver needs to know to complete the job; what am I doing, where am I doing it, and when am I doing it.

Company Default Tax

With this release, when selecting a tax rate on a transaction form, and a default tax rate is selected in Company Settings, you'll now see an indicator that there's a default tax.

Fixes

Copy Job Doesn't Copy Services: With this release, we fixed a bug when copying job, it wasn't copying services.

Job Form Breaks with Only Start Time: We fixed an issue where if a start time was added to the job form without an end time, the user would receive an Invalid Field error.
