Refund Workflow Improvements
With this release, we improved the experience when attempting to create a refund for a payment that is not yet settled (processing). Before (Left Image) you would have to fill out the refund form entirely in order to be alerted that that payment hasn’t settled and that you can’t issue the refund. Now (Right Image), you will be alerted when you click 'Create Refund', that a payment is still processing (not settled) and you will be given the option to void payment or cancel.
Fixes
Payments Appearing in Next Day's Reports Due to UTC Time: With this release, we have resolved an issue where payments made after a certain time of day were appearing on reports for the next day. Previously, payments made after 5 PM in MST (or equivalent local time depending on the user's UTC offset) were being timestamped with the following day due to UTC adjustments. Payments will now correctly reflect the date of the transaction, ensuring accuracy in reporting across all time zones.
The Remaining Balance is not Displayed on the Credit Memo: We resolved an issue when creating a credit memo, the taxed total was displayed in the Credit Memo Amount section instead of the actual remaining balance of the credit memo.
Line Break Issue Related to Long Service Descriptions on Invoices: We resolved an issue where long service line item descriptions in invoices would break unexpectedly, causing individual words to appear on separate lines when viewed or printed.
Overlapping Data and Formatting in Batched Invoice PDFs: We fixed an issue during batch billing where invoice pdf would periodically have overlapping data due to the page break.
