Find a Job

ServiceCore allows you to quickly locate jobs using global search, the Schedule, or on a customer profile. Once you open a job, you can view scheduling details, services, notes, and status.

Before You Start

Here are a couple things to know before you continue:

Find a Job using Global Search

If you know key details about a job, global search is often the fastest way to locate it. If you are new to using global search, please review this article on how to search.

Search by Job Number

  1. Click the “magnifying glass” icon in the top-right corner. 


     

  2. Select “Job” in the Search Category drop-down.
  3. Type in the Job Number. 
  4. Click the “Search” button.



     

The job will appear in the results. Click the Job Number to open the job’s details page or click the “+” icon to open additional details about the job.
 

View All Jobs

  1. Click the “magnifying glass” icon in the top-right corner. 



     

  2. Select “Job” for Category.
  3. Type in the letter “J.”
  4. Click the “Search” button. 



     

A list of all jobs for the timeframe listed will load. Use Filter, date range, and Sort By to narrow your search results and find the job you need.
 

Find a Job on the Schedule

If you know the scheduled date of a job, the Schedule can be an easy way to locate it.

  1. Click “Schedule” in the top-left corner.
  2. Select your Schedule view preference.
  3. Select the job’s date or a date range (if in Week view.)
  4. Click the Job on the Schedule. If it has not been assigned a Technician, it will appear in “Unassigned.”



     

  5. Click the Job Number to view the job’s details.



     

In general, whenever a Job Number is shown on the Schedule, you can click it to open up the job’s details. List view works a little differently than Week, Day, and Map as it shows the Job Number in line with the Customer Name.
 

Find a Job on a Customer Profile

The customer profile will contain a list of all jobs associated with that customer. This will include scheduled jobs and an historical record of completed jobs.

To access a customer profile and a list of their jobs:

  1. Click “Customers” in the top-left corner.
  2. Enter the customer’s name. 
  3. Click the "magnifying glass” icon to search.



     

  4. Click the “View Customer” icon in line with the customer’s name to open their customer profile. 

    • TIP: You can also click their Customer Number to open their profile



     

  5. Click the “Jobs” tab.
  6. Click the Job Number to open the job’s details page or click the “+” icon to open additional details about the job.



     

In addition to the list of jobs for the customer in the Jobs tab, you can always find the most recently completed job on the right-side of their profile.
