End a Repeat Job

With a few clicks, you can end repeat jobs in ServiceCore. Use the end repeat job option for ongoing repeat jobs that don't have an end date, or when a series of repeat jobs ends prematurely. No need to end each job one at a time. Phew!

In this article we'll show you how to end a series of repeat jobs.

Before You Start

Here are a few things to keep in mind before you start:

  1. You must have Manager, Admin or Owner level permission to end repeat jobs
  2. Repeat jobs can only be ended after the start date of the first job in the repeat job series
  3. If you want to end a repeat job series that hasn't started yet, you can delete the entire series of repeat jobs instead
  4. If your repeat jobs series is already schedule to end on a certain date, you can change the end date anytime
  5. To mark a single repeat job as done, your technicians can do so using the ServiceCore Mobile App by following the steps in this article: Complete a Job

  1. Log in to your ServiceCore account
  2. Then, click on this link: End Repeat Job

Follow these steps to end a series of repeat jobs:

  1. Use one of these methods to navigate to the repeat job: Find a job
  2. To view only repeat jobs when you're looking at a list of jobs, click on Filter by
  3. Select Scheduling type from the list of filter options
  4. Select Repeat job from the list of options

  5. Click Close
  6. Once you've located the repeat job you want to end, click on the Job number or View job
  7. Once you are on the job details page, click the Actions button
  8. Hover over Scheduling
  9. Click End Repeat Job

  10. An End repeat job popup will appear
  11. Click into the End on date field
  12. Choose an end date from the Calendar
  13. Choose a date that is after the repeat job is scheduled to start, and before the repeat job is already scheduled to end (dates that you can't choose will not be clickable)

  14. Once you're finished, click End Repeat Job
  15. You will then see a success message across the top of the job details page

  17. If you look at the repeat job in a list of jobs, you will see the end date in the list as well

Here are a few frequently asked questions we get about ending repeat jobs:

What will I see on the schedule once I end a repeat job series?

Once you end a series of repeat jobs, all repeat jobs after the end date you selected will be deleted and removed from the schedule. All repeat jobs prior to the end date will still be visible on the schedule, customer jobs tab, and in the jobs section on rental details pages.
