11/19/2020 Release - Customer and Sites Notes and Contacts, and more

The following improvements will be available in ServiceCore on or after November 19, 2020. To see these new features you will need to do a hard refresh in your browser. Here's how to Get the Latest Version of ServiceCore.

The ServiceCore office will be closed next Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. There is no release planned for next Thursday.

Notes and Contacts

Based off your feedback about recent changes to the location of notes and contacts for customer and site details pages, we've made the following further improvements to these two sections:

Customers

Customer "Notes" will now appear in a the first tab when you land on any customer details page. Customer "Contacts" will appear in the seventh tab.

Sites

Site "Notes" will now appear in a the first tab when you land on any site details page. Site "Contacts" will appear in the sixth tab.

Other Improvements Include...

  • Testing: We've made some improvements behind the scenes to improve the speed and reliability of our software tests.
  • Mobile: We've made some improvements behind the scenes to improve inventory management on the ServiceCore Mobile App.

Fixed

  • QuickBooks Desktop (QBD): If you sync with QBD and use negative line items as discounts, we have fixed an issue that would prevent the creation of a recurring invoice where the subtotal of regular line items is negative even when rental rates would bring it back to positive.
  • Default Messages: When saving default messages via company settings, you will no longer see an error message if you use special characters in the text boxes.
