The Septic Job Report gives you a clear view of pumped and disposed volumes, upcoming service needs, and any jobs missing disposal site data. It is designed to help you monitor septic job activity, spot gaps, and plan future maintenance, based on jobs created using the new septic job feature.
Before You Start

Key Features
- Summary: Displays key septic job metrics, such as total gallons pumped by county and by disposal site.
- Filtering Options: Users can filter jobs by Job Unit Type, Job Scheduled At, Market Type, Job Type, Job Status, and Pump Site County.
- Septic Job Table: Provides itemized lists of all septic jobs, including details like site information, job status, type, and driver, as well as a list of completed jobs without disposal sites.
Using the Septic Job Report
- Click Reports in the top menu.
- Scroll down and find the Septic Job Report listed under Operations Reports.
- Click the name of the report or the Open Report icon to open and run the report.
Septic Job Report Summary
Once the report loads, the first two sections of the report provide a snapshot of total volume pumped, where, when, and by who.
This section provides key insights, including:
- Volume Pumped by County: Shows the total gallons pumped categorized by county.
- Volume Pumped per County by Disposal Site: Breaks down the pumped gallons per county by the specific disposal site used.
- Volume Scheduled to Pump per Day by Driver: Illustrates the volume of gallons scheduled to be pumped each day, broken down by the assigned driver.
This section can also be configured to display volume pumped by:
- County
- ZIP Code
- Address
- Market Type
- City
Septic Job Report Filters
At the top of the report, there are options to select a timeframe and filter results.
- Job Scheduled At: Filter jobs by their scheduled date.
- Market Type: Filter jobs by Commercial or Residential market types.
- Job Type: Filter jobs by specific job types (e.g., SEPTIC PUMPING, HOLDING, GREASE TRAP, SEPTIC INSPECTION).
- Job Status: Filter jobs by their current status (e.g., Complete).
- Pump Site County: Narrow down jobs by the county where the pump site is located (e.g., Adams County, Juneau County, Portage County, Travis County, Wood County).
In addition to the filters that appear at the top of the report, you can select All Filters to use additional filters for your report.
Additional filters include:
- Driver Name: Show results for only specific drivers.
- Site Name: Narrow list by specific customer sites.
- Pump Site City: Filter results by certain cities.
- Pump Site ZIP: Narrow down jobs by specific ZIP codes.
- Division: Filter jobs by divisions of your business.
Septic Job Report Sections
In addition to the main summary towards the top of the report, there are a few other sections to understand.

Jobs with Recommended Next Cleaning:
- This section shows a list of sites due for their next septic cleaning, based on service dates and recommended intervals.

Completed Jobs Without Disposal Site:
- This section provides a list of jobs that have been completed but are missing disposal site information, indicating a need for review.

Septic Job Details:
- This section provides a comprehensive list of all septic jobs with detailed information about each job, including site number, name, address, county, job number, status, type, market type, and driver name.
Sorting a Section of the Report
After using the filters based on your preferences, you have additional options to sort the data that is presented in the report in the different report sections.
To sort the septic report summary sections:
- Hover over the section so a menu appears in the top right corner of the section.
- Click the three vertical dots.
- In the menu that appears, hover over ‘Sort.’
- Select your ‘Sort By’ preference in the list of options that appear.
The other sections of the report work a little differently as you can use the headers of the columns to sort.
To sort report tables using the column headers:
- Click the options icon next to the header.
- Select your sort preference or click the gear icon for additional options.
Expanding Job Details in Report
The report displays basic details for the septic jobs included in the report. To view additional details for a specific, click the + icon next to the Job Number. This will expand additional details for that job to the right in the scrollable section. Clicking the + icon at the top of the column will expand additional details for all jobs listed.
Please Note: In general, when a + icon appears, it means that there is an opportunity to expand additional details for a given section or line item.
How to Export the Septic Jobs Report
Once you have a section of your report displaying the information you want, you can download it for your records.
- Hover over the section so a menu appears in the top right corner of the table.
- Click the three vertical dots.
- In the menu that appears, hover over ‘Export.’
- Select your file preference in the list of options that appear in the dropdown and the report will download in the file format you selected.
- When exporting as a PDF, you can choose Portrait or Landscape layout.
Please Note: You can export up to 1 million rows at a time. If your table contains more than 1 million rows, we recommend using filters to break the data into smaller, exportable chunks.
How to Send the Septic Jobs Report
In addition to downloading a section of the report to your computer, you can also email a section.
- Hover over the section so a menu appears in the top right corner of the table.
- Click the three vertical dots.
- In the menu that appears, hover over Export.
- Click Export… at the bottom of the list under the Send section.
- In the pop-up that appears, click the mail icon.
- Enter the email address of the recipient.
- Click ‘Export’ to send an email with the report attached.
Please Note: On the final screen, you can also customize the email subject, select specific attachments and file types, or send the report as a .zip file.
