For any items that have GPS coordinates, you can get driving directions to the item. This feature allows you to drive to each toilet, even if one toilet is at one end of the beach, and a second toilet is at the other end of the beach.
Before You Start
Here are a few things to keep in mind before you get directions to inventory items:
- You must have the ServiceCore Mobile App installed on your mobile device
- For Android devices: Download on Google play
- For iOS or Apple devices: Download on the App Store
- All users must have a ServiceCore account in order to login to the Mobile App
- App permissions must be turned on for:
- Camera
- Storage
- Your Location
- You can only get driving directions to items that have GPS coordinates
How to Get Driving Directions to Individual Inventory Items
To use this feature, follow these steps:
- In the header of the mobile app, tap on the menu icon (three stacked lines, aka the hamburger icon) in the upper left corner of the screen
- In the menu that appears, tap Inventory
- Search for the serial number
- Tap on the item to view the item details page
- Scroll down and tap Get Directions
- Once you've located the item, you can return to a job by tapping on the menu icon (three stacked lines, aka the hamburger icon) in the upper left corner of the screen
- Tap My Schedule
- Tap on the job
