8/26/2021 Release - Payment Improvements, Pre-Release Program, and more

Payment Details Page

Online Payments

We have update the payment details page to make it easier to see when a payment was recoded via the Online Payment form.

Delete Payments

The "Delete Payment" link has been added to the actions menu in the upper right corner, and the bottom of the payment details page. But hold your horses! Before you delete a payment, please be aware that deleting a payment is permanent and cannot be undone. Alternate options include editing the payment or voiding the payment instead. Also please note, you cannot delete processed credit card payments.

Mobile App

There have been several recent improvements to the mobile app behind the scenes to enhance performance. Please update to the latest version of the ServiceCore Mobile App at your earliest convenience. Once you've updated the app the version will be 8.1.4.

Fixed

  • Sales By Customer Report: An issue has been resolved where you would see an error and were unable to get results to appear on the Sales by Customer report after using the search box to narrow your list of results.
  • Delivery or Pick-Up Job Appointment Times: We have also fixed an issue where the starting appointment time of a job was not being cleared out after editing a job to remove the start time.
  • Record Payment Form: An issue has been resolved where the payment method dropdown on the Record Payment form would not update correctly if a processed credit card payment was declined after you tried to submit the form.

ServiceCore's pre-release program provides you a direct line to members of our Product Team before new features go live in ServiceCore. If you join our research group, you'll be invited to interviews, usability studies, surveys and more. The input you provide is important to the product team and your feedback is central to improving ServiceCore on the web and mobile app.
