Improved

Associate Rentals Popup

Each time you create a new invoice for an existing rental job, an "Associate Rental" popup appears on the screen. We have improved this experience to pre-select the rental in the list when you come from a rental details page, or from any list of jobs in ServiceCore. ServiceCore already knows that Job "J1" is a job performed for Rental "R1" and can pre-select the rental on your behalf.

When you see this pop-up you can:

  • Leave the rental selected (the invoice for Job "J1" will be associated to Rental "R1")
  • Choose another rental in the list (the invoice for Job "J1" will be associated to Rental "R2")
  • Click "Cancel" (the invoice for Job "J1" will not be associated to any rental)

Fixed

ServiceCore Mobile App Camera Updates

We have updated the ServiceCore Mobile App to address various camera-related issues experienced by users running Android 11. Please ensure your version of the ServiceCore Mobile App is updated to version 8.4.0 once you receive a notice on your device that a new version is available. If you have automatic updates enabled on your device, this download/install should happen automatically within the next day or two.

Rental Changes Found Alert Icon

The "Rental Changes" found icon that appears on the Accounting > Invoices > Recurring Invoices tab has been removed temporarily while we improve the conditions under which this icon will appear. This icon was not displaying when rental changes occurred in the previous billing cycle that would affect the next billing cycle invoice total. And the icon was not appearing when service jobs in the upcoming billing cycle would cause the recurring invoice total to change.

We are currently re-configuring when this icon will appear on the invoice preview to show you whenever rental or job activity for the previous and next billing cycle affect the next invoice total.

Dollar Amount Display Improvements

The dollar amount that displays for currency input fields in ServiceCore on accounting transaction forms was missing the trailing zeros. For example, a dollar amount of $5.10 would display as $5.1. Now the zeros will appear on forms to make it easier to scan and read amounts as you work on the page. The forms that will have these changes include:

Tax Codes on Create Invoice

We have resolved an issue where the tax amount was not being re-calculated and updated correctly on the invoice form when the "Tax" box was checked and then unchecked on a service line item. The tax was being correctly calculated on the invoice once it was created.
