4/7/2022 Release - Job Completion Email Improvements, Refund Updates, and more

The items mentioned below will be available on or after April 7, 2022. To see these new features, please perform a hard refresh in your browser. Here's how to Get the Latest Version of ServiceCore.

Job Completion Emails

Job completion emails sent from the ServiceCore web app or the mobile app will now show the specific job completion status, including when the job is:

  • Completed
  • Partial Service
  • Unable to Service

Refunds

QuickBooks Desktop Users

QuickBooks Desktop does not allow us to sync refunds from ServiceCore to your QuickBooks Desktop account. Due to this, when you create or edit refunds in ServiceCore, you will now see a message across the top of the page reminding you of this so you don't forget to go into your QuickBooks Desktop account and create or edit a refund in there.

Refund Method

When you record a processed credit card payment, then later issue a refund for that payment, you will now have the option to edit the method of the refund. Meaning, if you choose "cash" by mistake instead of "check" when creating the refund, you can edit the refund to the correct method.

Fixed

  • Schedule Filters: We have resolved an issue where the schedule filters would not appear if your account was enabled with the company switch.
  • Accounts that Sync with QuickBooks and Process Cards Through CardConnect: We have resolved an issue where payments that were recorded in ServiceCore and were declined while processing through CardConnect would still sync to your QuickBooks account. Now, if a payment is declined, that payment will no longer be created in ServiceCore or in your QuickBooks account. You will need to re-record the payment in ServiceCore with a valid card in order for the payment to process and sync to QuickBooks successfully.
