The ServiceCore Mobile App puts the tools drivers need right in the palm of their hand. View assigned jobs, update statuses on the go, and manage inventory directly from your device. Everything you need to complete your day efficiently is available in one place.
These steps cover the new ServiceCore Mobile App. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you’re in the right place. If you’re still using the previous version, now called ServiceCore Legacy, follow the steps below to move to the new mobile app.
Before You Start
Here are a few things to know before you continue:
- To see if you have access to this feature in ServiceCore, please check out this article on user permission levels.
- The ServiceCore Mobile App is only meant for Drivers and should not be used by Admins or Office Staff.
- You will need a smart phone or tablet to download the app.
- You will need to know what type of device you will be using to download the app as Apple and Android devices have different app stores.
- To check that your device can run ServiceCore Mobile, please check out this article on minimum requirements.
Select the Correct ServiceCore Mobile App
You may see two ServiceCore apps when you search the App Store or Google Play Store. ServiceCore Mobile is the app to use. ServiceCore Legacy is the previous version.
Please Note: Make sure the app you download is named ServiceCore Mobile. If ServiceCore Legacy is on your device, remove it after you confirm everything is working in ServiceCore Mobile and all of your work from ServiceCore Legacy has synced. ServiceCore Legacy will be retired, and we’ll share the retirement date in advance.
Download on iPhones and Other Apple Devices
Apple devices get apps from the App Store. To download ServiceCore Mobile, follow these steps:
- Open the App Store.
- Search for “ServiceCore Mobile.”
- Find the ServiceCore Mobile app that looks like the one below and tap “Get” to download.
TIP: If search results don’t show the app right away, open the App Store link in Step 1 directly from your device.
Please Note: You may be prompted to supply a password, depending on how your phone is set up. This will be the same process you use whenever you download an app from the App Store. This could be a password, PIN number, a Face ID, or some other action.
Download on Android Devices
Android devices get apps from the Google Play Store. To download ServiceCore Mobile, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for “ServiceCore Mobile.”
- Find the ServiceCore Mobile app that looks like the one below and tap “Install” to download.
TIP: If search results don’t show the app right away, open the Google Play Store link in Step 1 directly from your device.
Please Note: You may be prompted to supply a password, depending on how your phone is set up. This will be the same process you use whenever you download an app from the Google Play Store. This could be a password, PIN number, a Face ID, or some other action.
Log In to the Mobile App
Logging in connects the app to your ServiceCore account so you can see your assigned jobs. To log in, follow these steps:
- Open the ServiceCore Mobile app.
- Enter your email and password that you created or were provided by an Admin.
- Tap “Log In.”
Choose a Fingerprint or Face ID Option
The first time you log in on a device, the app asks if you want to use your fingerprint or face the next time. You’ll see “Fingerprint” or “Face ID” depending on what your device supports.
Pick the option that fits how the device is used:
- Set up Fingerprint (or Set up Face ID): Best for a phone or tablet only you use. Every login after that takes a quick fingerprint or face scan.
- Not now: Logs you in as usual and skips the question. You can turn it on later in Settings.
- This device is shared: Use this if more than one driver uses the device. Fingerprint and Face ID stay off, and everyone logs in with their own email and password.
Please Note: You’ll only see this prompt once, right after your first login on a device. Your email and password always work, even after you set up fingerprint or Face ID.

Allow App Permissions
Your phone asks for permission to use your location and camera when the app needs them. Photos works differently. You don’t need to allow anything.
-
Location: This prompt appears when you first open the app. The app uses your location to record where customer signatures are captured and where inventory items are scanned. Tap “Allow While Using App.”
-
Camera: This prompt appears the first time you take a photo in the app. The app uses the camera to take photos of job sites. Tap “Allow.”
-
Photos: When you add a photo from your library, your phone shows a banner that says the app has private access.
If you tapped the wrong option, or need to make an update to your permissions, open your phone’s Settings, find the app, and turn the permission back on.
