We're really excited about some big changes coming to our product that our team has been working hard on. First, we're focusing on improving Accounting and Billing.
We've heard that the layout of our PDF invoices can be confusing for some customers and doesn't always print well for mailing. We want you to know we're listening! While some bigger changes are cooking in the background, we wanted to deliver a quick win.
Here’s what’s changed:
- Reskin of the invoice to make key elements more pronounced
- Ex. Site Name & Address
- Mail to and Remit to addresses now fit in a standard #9 envelope!
- Tax Line - Which makes it clearer to see which taxes are applied to which line item. They’re aggregated at the invoice subtotal section
Here’s why we did it:
- Support taxes at the line item level
- Align closer with common invoice terminology and requests we’ve heard from our customers
Verbiage Updates:
- Top of Invoice: Please Pay -> Invoice Amount
- Remit Slip: Amount Due -> Invoice Due
- Mini Aging: Subtotal -> Invoice Total
When will these changes take place?
- The updates will go live on September 5th, 2024!
- Updates to the following PDFs will be included in the September 5th release: Invoice, Refund, Credit-Memo, and Estimate.
- Updates to the following PDFs will be included a future release: Multi-Site Invoice and Statement
