In ServiceCore, users with “Show User on Schedule” enabled can be assigned jobs and appear on the dispatch schedule. Depending on your contract, the number of scheduled users may impact your billing. If a technician changes roles or stops working routes, you can remove them from the schedule without deactivating their profile. If a user has already been deactivated but still appears on the schedule, you should also remove them to avoid billing issues. Once removed, they will no longer appear on the schedule or be available for new job assignments.
Before You Start
Here are a few things to know before you continue:
- Only Account Owners, Franchise Owners, and Admins can enable or disable “Show User on Schedule” on a user’s profile.
- Removing a user from the schedule does not deactivate their account.
- Users who remain marked as “Show User on Schedule” may continue to count toward your scheduled user total for billing purposes.

Remove a User from the Schedule:
To remove a user from the schedule:
- Click your name in the top right corner.
- Select “Settings.”

Click “User Management.”
- Click the down arrow in line with the user.

Select “Edit User” in the drop-down menu.
- Uncheck the box to disable the user to be shown on the schedule.

Click “Save.”

If the user has jobs assigned to them, you will be prompted to assign those jobs to another driver, then click “Remove and Reassign.”
FAQs
Does removing a user from the schedule deactivate them?
No. Removing a user from the schedule does not deactivate their account. The user will still be able to log in unless their profile is deactivated.
What happens to jobs already assigned to the user?
Removing a user from the schedule prevents new jobs from being assigned, but existing or future scheduled jobs will need to be reassigned to another driver.
Can I add the user back to schedule later?
Yes. You can edit the user’s profile and re-enable “Show User on Schedule” at any time.
