When you click "Print" in ServiceCore, you're not sending anything to a physical printer. You're downloading a PDF file instead, which you can then print, save, or attach to an email.
How that download works depends on how many documents you're printing. A single document downloads directly to your computer. Multiple documents, using the print queue, arrive as an email attachment instead.
How Printing Works in ServiceCore
When you print a single document, like one invoice, the PDF downloads automatically to your computer. You don't need to change any browser settings for this to happen.
Please Note: In Firefox, the PDF also opens in a new browser tab in addition to downloading. That's expected. It doesn't mean anything went wrong or that you need to download it again.
When you print multiple documents at once using the print queue, ServiceCore doesn't download them through your browser. Instead, you'll receive an email with everything from the print queue attached.
Once you have your PDF, whether from a direct download or an email attachment, you can open it, print it, save it, or attach it to another email.
Install a PDF Reader
You'll want a PDF reader installed on your computer or mobile device to open, view, and print PDFs downloaded from ServiceCore. Any PDF reader works. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free and one of the most common options.

Confirm Your Browser Is Supported
Not every browser works the same way with ServiceCore. To see which browsers are fully supported and which are only partially supported, check out this article on logging in and optimizing your ServiceCore experience.
If you're using a browser outside Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari, you may run into unexpected issues downloading or printing PDFs.
Fix Common Issues
If a document doesn't download or arrive the way you expect, the cause depends on which method you used.
Single Document Doesn't Download
This usually means something outside ServiceCore, like an ad blocker, a browser extension, or antivirus software, is blocking the download. Try disabling these one at a time to see if the download goes through. If it still doesn't work, contact your IT department, since some company networks block downloads at the firewall level.
Print Queue Email Never Arrives
This isn't a printing problem, it's an email deliverability problem. Check out this article on email deliverability FAQs for help troubleshooting.
