The Schedule page provides tools to help you manage technicians, routes, and daily operations. Most actions are available via ellipsis icons, which open Actions menus for individual technicians or the entire schedule, allowing you to complete tasks without leaving the page.
Before You Start
Here are a few things to know before you continue:
- You must have access to the Schedule page.
- Technicians and jobs should already be created in order for them to appear on the Schedule.
- If a technician does not appear on the schedule, check your Schedule filter and confirm they have been marked as “Show User on Schedule.”
- To see if you have user permissions to view and use the Schedule, please review this article.
Technician Actions Menu
Each technician on the Schedule has an actions menu (three dots) next to their name. This menu provides quick access to common route and job actions.
To access a technician’s actions menu, hover over the ellipsis icon next to the technician’s name and select the action you want to perform. The ellipsis icon can be found in the Week, Day, and List view of the Schedule.
From this menu, you can:
- Optimize Day
- Print Daily Route Sheet
- Print Service Tickets
- View on Map
- Reasssign
- Create Job
- Create Rental
Schedule Actions Menu
The Schedule page also includes an actions menu in the top-right corner. This menu provides additional tools for managing your daily operations.
To access the Schedule actions menu, hover over the ellipsis icon to open it and perform actions that apply to the entire schedule.
From this menu, you can:
- GPS Tracking - view technician locations on a map
- Print Daily Route Sheets
- Print Service Tickets
Add Destinations to Routes
Destinations represent locations your technicians may visit during the day, such as a yard, office, or landfill.
To add a destination to a route in Day view of the Schedule:
- Locate the destination in your Destinations list.
- Click and drag the destination to a technician’s route.
- Place the destination in the desired position in the route.
You can add multiple destinations to show starting points, end locations, or additional stops throughout the day.
Assign Jobs from the Unassigned Column
Jobs in the Unassigned section of the Schedule have not been assigned to a technician. Unassigned jobs appear in each view with different ways to assign the job to a technician.
To assign jobs from Unassigned, you can:
- Drag and drop the job onto a technician’s route (one-time change).
- The Schedule page also has a global Actions menu in the top-right corner. This menu lets you perform actions that apply to the entire schedule.
- You can also open the job details page and use the Actions menu to update assignments.
TIP: When assigning a job in a repeat series, always confirm whether changes should apply to only a single job or the entire series for repeating jobs.
Print Route Sheets
You can print route sheets for individual technicians or for all technicians scheduled for the day.
Print a Single Technician’s Route
