Use the Reassign Jobs in Bulk tools in ServiceCore to move multiple jobs to a different technician or date. This is useful for adjusting routes, balancing workloads, or updating repeating job schedules.
There are two main ways to reassign jobs in bulk:
- Using the Reassign (Lasso) tool in Map view
- Using the Reassign option in a technician’s actions menu
Before You Start
Here are a few things to know before you continue:
- You must have access to the Schedule page.
- Jobs must already exist on the Schedule to be reassigned in bulk.
- If a technician does not appear on the Schedule, check your Schedule filter and confirm they have been marked as “Show User on Schedule.”

Reassign Using the Lasso Tool in Map View
The Reassign (Lasso) tool allows you to select multiple jobs visually and move them at once. Use this method to move multiple jobs at once, adjust entire routes, or rebalance workloads across technicians.
To use the lasso tool to reassign jobs in bulk, follow these steps:
- Open the Map view of the Schedule.
- Click the Reassign/Lasso tool “box” icon.

Click and drag to create a box around the jobs you want to move.

After making your selection, click “Reassign” in the bottom-left corner.
- In the window that appears, select a new Date. (Optional)
- Select the Technician to move the jobs to.
- Please Note: Repeat series with the same frequency are grouped together.
- Select move applies to only these jobs or all jobs in the repeat series. (For Repeat Jobs only)
- TIP: You can also update the frequency and dates of a repeat series when reassigning.

Click “Reassign.”
Reassign Using a Technician’s Actions Menu
For smaller sets of jobs or individual routes, use the Reassign option in a technician’s actions menu. This menu is available in the Week, Day, and List views of the Schedule. Use this method when reassigning an entire technician’s route, such as when they are unavailable for the day.
To use a technician’s actions menu to reassign their jobs in bulk, follow these steps:
- Open the Day view of the Schedule.
- Hover over the ellipsis icon (three dots) next to the technician’s name.

Select “Reassign” in the drop-down menu.
- In the window that appears, select a new Date. (Optional)
- Select the technician to move the jobs (and any associated destinations) to.
- Select move applies to only these jobs or all jobs in the repeat series. (For Repeat Jobs only)
- TIP: When reassigning, you can also change the frequency and dates of a repeat series.
