Default Bank Account for Recurring Invoices
In this release, we've enhanced the recurring invoice workflow to simplify getting paid. You can now set a default bank account to be automatically applied to newly created recurring invoices, making the process smoother. This feature follows the addition of default credit cards introduced in our August 8, 2024 release.
How to Enable:
- Navigate to a customer with a bank account on file, or add a new bank account.
- Click 'Edit Customer Details.'
- In the Billing section, check the box for 'Default Autopay for Recurring Invoices.'
- Select the desired bank account. If only one account is on file, it will be auto-selected.
By enabling this feature, recurring invoices for this customer will automatically charge the default bank account during batch billing, with a receipt sent to the customer.
Note: The 'Enable Autopay for this recurring invoice' checkbox will be pre-selected on all new recurring invoice templates created for the customer.
