06/02/2026 - New Jobs Tab on the Rentals Page with Quick Filters, Fixes

The items mentioned below will be available on June 2, 2026. This is a preview of what's coming in the next release. To see these new features once they go live, please perform a hard refresh in your browser and update your mobile app to the latest version (9.6.4+ota.1). Here's how to Keep ServiceCore Up to Date.

New Feature: New Jobs Tab on the Rentals Page with Quick Filters

The Rentals page now has a Jobs tab that gives you a full, filterable jobs list without leaving the Rentals area.

What Changed

  • A new Jobs tab sits between the Map and Inventory tabs on the Rentals page.
  • A Quick Filters drop-down inside the tab offers three preset views:
    • Missed Rental Jobs: These are incomplete rental jobs from yesterday and earlier that move inventory and may be affecting your availability numbers.
    • Today's Remaining Rental Jobs: These are incomplete rental jobs scheduled for today that move inventory.
    • Jobs Ready for Invoice: These are completed, billable, non-rental jobs that haven't been invoiced yet.

The Product Availability Chart tooltip now includes a "See All" link. Clicking it takes you directly to the jobs list, pre-filtered to show the exact jobs contributing to that availability count.

Why It Matters

Availability numbers that don't add up are usually caused by missed or incomplete jobs. Before this update, tracking those down meant leaving the Rentals page entirely. Now you can spot and act on the jobs affecting your availability count from one place.

Fixes

Rented Count Incorrectly Including Service Jobs: We have resolved a bug where completed service jobs were being counted toward the Rented count, causing it to display a higher number than the actual quantity of items out on rent. Rented counts now correctly reflect only delivered inventory.

Route Order Shuffling After Completing a Job on Mobile: We have resolved a bug where completing a job would cause the schedule to reorder or go blank, leaving drivers confused about their next stop. The schedule now stays in its optimized order throughout the route — completing a stop no longer triggers a server refetch that could shift the job list. Additionally, drivers completing an invoiceable job will now land on the job details screen rather than being sent back to the schedule. These changes will be delivered over the air, so no app update is required.

“Checking In On Delivery Date” Warning Not Showing for Multi-Yard Accounts: We have resolved a bug where accounts with multiple yard locations were not seeing the warning on the rental form indicating that units are scheduled to be checked in on the same delivery date. This warning is an important safeguard against overbooking when same-day pickup jobs may not be completed in time, and it now displays correctly regardless of yard configuration.

Rented Count Incorrectly Including Service Jobs: We have resolved a bug where completed service jobs were being counted toward the Rented count, causing it to display a higher number than the actual quantity of items out on rent. Rented counts now correctly reflect only delivered inventory.

Bulk Daily Route Sheets For All Users Do Not Display Units for Rental Service Jobs: Resolved a bug where units serviced for rental jobs were missing from the "Service" column when printing bulk Daily Route Sheets from the schedule. The emailed PDF now correctly includes all serviced units, matching the individual driver route sheets.

Printed service tickets intermittently missing inventory and quantity: Fixed an issue where inventory items and quantities would sometimes fail to appear on printed service tickets for rental service jobs. These details will now consistently display on all printed tickets.

Duplicate Invoices Generated via Batch Billing: We fixed an issue where the processing lock on large invoice batches would occasionally drop before the entire list was finished loading. This caused the page to refresh early, which could lead users to accidentally re-select and double-bill the remaining invoices. The small time window that the user was able to re-select a recurring invoice to be batched a second time has been eliminated.
