Default Service Date Setting
You can now configure how far out the service date defaults when creating a rental - no more manually adjusting it every time.
What's new: Under Settings > Company > Preferences > Rentals, there is a new Default Service Date setting. Enter the number of days after the delivery date that you'd like the service date to automatically populate when creating a rental. For example, entering "3" means the service date will default to 3 days after the selected delivery date.
- Defaults to 7 days for all accounts
- Minimum value of 0 days (same day as delivery)
- The service date can always be adjusted manually when creating a rental
This follows the recent update that defaulted the service date out one week and gives your team full control over the right cadence for your operation.
Fixes
Rentals with Deliveries past 2 weeks from today (Yard Locations Enabled Customers Only): We fixed an issue that was causing errors when selecting a delivery job date past 2 weeks from today without a pickup job.
Address Preview Suggestions: We improved address auto-fill for Google-suggested addresses so the City field is populated more accurately. In cases where Google doesn’t provide a city in its underlying address components, the City may still need to be manually adjusted.
