Improvements to Settings
With this release, we made some user experience improvements to the settings section within ServiceCore. We've added descriptions to each page to make it easier for new companies and new users to onboard and understand what each section does.
Batch Billing Improvements
With this release, we added an improvement to the batch billing workflow. Now, if an invoice is associated to a rental, a link to the rental is displayed in the table. When you click on the link/rental number, it will open up the corresponding rental within a new tab in your browser.
Void Invoice
With this release we made it easier to void invoices for users with permissions to do so. We made the option to void an invoice available in the drop down of the corresponding row in the invoice table.
Improved Scheduling for Repeat Jobs on Irregular Month Days
With this release, we've enhanced the user experience for repeat jobs scheduled on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of the month. If a job is set to repeat on a specific day of the month and that day doesn't exist in certain months (example: February), the system will now automatically schedule the job for the last day of the month. This ensures jobs are consistently scheduled without requiring manual adjustments.
New Action Shortcuts on Rentals List
With this release, we've added convenient action shortcuts on the rentals list, making it easier to perform your most common tasks. In addition to viewing a rental, you can now quickly create a job, set up a recurring invoice, or create a one-time invoice - all with a single click directly from the rentals list. This update is designed to save you time and streamline your workflow.
Fixes
Rental Rate Proration - Flat Rate Displays Start Date Before Rental Start: We fixed an issue when users would create a recurring invoice template that bills in arrears using proration, flat rates would display dates before the rental had started on the first invoice. Billing for a time frame shorter or longer than the billing interval on the recurring template added service dates before the first delivery was completed.
Mobile App: Get Directions button disabled: We fixed an issue where the Get Directions option from the Actions menu on Homepage of the mobile app was disabled Pro Messaging was not enabled.
Transfer Jobs Showing in Ready for Invoice: We have fixed an issue for users of Multi-Yard Inventory that caused Transfer Jobs (which are not billable) to display in the "Ready for Invoice" tab of Accounting.
Service Reminders for Monthly Intervals: We've fixed an issue where Service Reminders set for monthly intervals would incorrectly default to the current date instead of the last reminder date specified by the user. This update ensures that Service Reminders now accurately follow the user-defined scheduled for a seamless experience.
