The items mentioned below will be available on September 1, 2026. This is a preview of what's coming in the next release. To see these new features once they go live, please perform a hard refresh in your browser and update your mobile app to the latest version (9.6.8). Here's how to Keep ServiceCore Up to Date.
New Feature: Seasonal Fee Automation
You can now set up automated seasonal fees, like winterization fees, so they apply to invoices on their own, with proration built in.
What Changed
- A new Seasonal Fee automation is available under Settings > Automations. You set a trigger product and a date range, and ServiceCore applies the fee automatically to qualifying invoices.
- The fee prorates automatically based on how much of the season a rental was on-site for, so you're not manually calculating partial charges.
- You can exclude specific customers, sites, site types, or territories from a seasonal fee automation.
Why It Matters
Manually adding and removing seasonal fees across every affected invoice each season is slow and easy to get wrong. This automation handles the calculation and timing for you, so the right fee shows up on the right invoices without the manual cleanup.

Feature Update: Rental Job Filter on Rental Details
You can now filter the Jobs section on a Rental Details page by movement type: pickup, delivery, or exchange.
What Changed
- The Scheduling Type filter for the Jobs list on a Rental includes three new options: Rental job: Pickup, Rental job: Delivery, and Rental job: Exchange.
Why It Matters
Finding a specific delivery or pickup on a rental with a long job history used to mean scanning the entire list. Now you can isolate just one movement type to find what you're looking for.
Feature Update: Mismatched On-Site Inventory Tab
Audience: Accounts using Rentals
The Inventory Management Report now has a tab to help you catch on-site inventory that doesn't match your records.
What Changed
- A new "Mismatched On-Site Inventory" tab flags products still showing as on-site for completed or closed rentals, and rentals in progress with no on-site units recorded.
- Each flagged item links directly to the related rental so you can investigate and correct it.
Why It Matters
Inventory that's technically closed out but still shows as on-site (or vice versa) throws off your availability numbers and is hard to track down without a dedicated view. This tab surfaces those mismatches in one place instead of making you dig through rentals one at a time.

Coming This Week: Card Account Updater (CAU)
Card Account Updater automatically keeps the card details you have on file current, so expired or reissued cards don't cause declined payments. We've also updated the payment methods area to give you more visibility and control over saved cards.
Audience: Accounts using Fiserv/CardPointe for Card Payments
What's Changing
- Saved cards will be automatically checked and updated when a customer's card is renewed, reissued, or replaced, without you or your customer having to do anything.
- You'll be able to see when a card's details were automatically updated, directly from the customer's Payment Types tab.
- You'll be able to deactivate a card separately from permanently deleting it.
Why It Matters
Recurring and scheduled payments fail most often because the card on file is out of date. This keeps card details current in the background, so you see fewer declined payments and get paid faster.

Fix
Site Type Dropdown Limit on the Customer Portal: Fixed an issue where the Customer/Site Type dropdown in the Customer Portal only showed the first 10 options. You can now see and select from all configured site types when creating a new site.
