03/20/2025 - Updates to Site Contacts on Rental Details, Mobile App Update, + Fixes

The items mentioned below will be available on or after March 20, 2025. To see these new features, please perform a hard refresh in your browser and update your mobile app to the latest version (9.4.39). Here's how to Get the Latest Version of ServiceCore.

Site Contacts on Rental Details

We've received feedback that the site contacts link wasn't obviously clickable on the rental details page. Before, you would see a single number that was clickable to view all site contacts. In today's release, we'll be adding a new link to open the site contact modal, as well as including the first site contact associated with the rental on the rental details page.

We hope this makes it easier to find the information you need!

Quick Action Buttons Opening in a New Tab

We've added the ability on quick action buttons to right click and open them in a new tab. You will see this change in our Customers, Rentals, and Accounting pages.

Mobile App - Itemized Inventory Warning Message

With mobile app version 9.4.39, we've made 3 changes to the Job Completion workflow in the mobile app for Pick Up, Delivery, & Exchange jobs using Itemized Inventory.

  1. The job will no longer have a default status of "Complete" the driver will need to select the completion status.
    1. Note: Rental Service job types, and non-rental job types will still have the default completion status.
  2. If the number of serial numbers / barcodes recorded does not match the number of units on the job, then the driver will be presented a warning message.
    1. Message: "Unable to mark job as Complete. Number of units selected does not match the expected quantity"
  3. If the number of serial numbers / barcodes scanned does not match the number of units on the job, the driver the completion status of "Complete" will be disabled, and the driver must mark the job as "Partial Service" or "Unable to Service"
    1. This is to denote to staff in the office that there are either still units that need to be picked up/delivered or that the data on the job needs to be corrected for Product/Inventory counts to remain accurate

Fixes

Preventing Payments from Being Recorded Without Linking a Credit Memo: With this release, we've fixed an issue where when recording a payment using the "Record Payment" button at the bottom of an invoice, a pre-populated value in the "Amount" field in Section 2 could result in a payment being recorded without properly linking or applying a credit memo. Now, the system will ensure that payments are correctly linked and applied to prevent discrepancies in recorded transactions.

Unable to Print Refunds: We've resolved an issue where the 'Print Refund' button was not producing and downloading the refund PDF and was instead presenting an error message. This issue has been resolved and refunds are now able to be downloaded as a PDF.

Full Screen Schedule Map View not showing headers correctly: We've resolved an issue where the header was not showing correctly within the Schedule Map view when viewing it in full screen. Now, when in full screen mode on the Schedule Map view only the Schedule Map headers will show.
