We have made a series of updates to the mobile app with version 9.4.44 including:

Fix - Session Expired & Unauthorized Error Messages on Login: with version 9.4.44, we have fixed an issue that blocks users from being able to login to the mobile app without hard closing the app.

Remove Technician level user's ability to modify Services on a job:  with version 9.4.44, we have removed the ability for users with Technician level permissions to add, edit, or delete Services on a Job in the ServiceCore mobile app. Users with Technician with Billing (a.k.a. Accountant) or higher level permissions will still be able to modify services on the job.

Error Messaging when Attachment Upload Fails: with version 9.4.44, we have added error messaging informing drivers when an image they are uploading to a job fails to upload. Drivers will now be informed if an image fails to load and will be be given a reason for the failure.

Job Pages Design Updates: with version 9.4.44; we have updated the design styles across the Job Complete workflow, bringing the styles in-line with the coming soon, custom Septic Job Types. Updated functionality includes:

  • New styles on the "Get Directions" button
  • New, larger "Scan Barcode" button"
  • New "Pin" icon for geolocating units that you have selected but did not scan a barcode

Global Job Search

In an effort to improve job search load times, we have updated the timeframe that the global job search defaults to. We'll be automatically showing results for jobs that were scheduled 2 weeks prior and after today's date (4 week timespan). You will still be able to update your time frame once in the search results page.

Customer Portal: Add New Sites to Service Requests

For customers on the Pro Plan, users can now add a new site directly when submitting a service request through the Customer Portal. Previously, customers could only select from existing sites. This enhancement gives your customers more flexibility and streamlines the request process, which is especially helpful for servicing new locations.

Phone Number Input

We've made a small tweak to the phone number edit experience. Previously, the cursor would get moved to the end of the phone number after each key stroke. Now, the cursor will stay in place with your edits. See below for the old experience that we've since corrected.

Fixes

Desktop Users Incorrectly Served Mobile View: With this release, we resolved an issue where some desktop and laptop users were incorrectly seeing the mobile version of the ServiceCore app. This was caused by a change to how page sizes were defined behind the scenes. With this fix, desktop users should now consistently see the full desktop version of the site as expected.
