Refunds + Credit Memo Updates
We’re improving how Refunds and Credit Memos work together in ServiceCore.
- Refunds for ‘applied’ payments - payments used to pay off invoices - will re-open the invoice.
- Refunds for ‘unapplied’ payments - payments not used to pay off invoices, automatically turned into a credit - will reverse the credit balance.
- Similar to how payments work, refunds will no longer have line items.
- ‘Take another form of payment’ will be accessible from within the Refund flow.
The credit memo creation flow will be more seamless and accessible directly from an invoice. Additionally, you now have the option to create a refund within the credit memo creation flow.

Aging Report Updates
The Aging Report will change in a few ways. Most importantly though, your Monthly AR Balance and Aging Reports will have fewer reconciling items.
First, we’ve improved the navigation within the report to make it easier for you to find the information you’re looking for.
Second, we’ve added functionality to allow you to look at your aging information in more ways.
Last, we’ve changed the way your receivables data is presented.

Fixes
Editing Completed Delivery/Pickup Job is Overriding Manually Entered Quantity: We have fixed an issue for itemized products where if the less serial numbers were selected than units delivered/picked up, the re-opened job would default to the number of serial numbers selected and not the user entered value. Editing completion will now persist the user entered value.
Missing Serial Numbers Table returning Jobs with Correct Number of Serial Numbers: We have fixed an issue that caused jobs with the correct number of serial numbers to display in the Jobs with Missing Serial Numbers table.
