The items mentioned below will be available on or after September 16, 2025. This is a preview of what's coming in the next release. To see these new features once they go live, please perform a hard refresh in your browser and update your mobile app to the latest version (9.4.55). Here's how to Get the Latest Version of ServiceCore.

Inventory Updates

Order Entry Updates

Warning Banner if Overselling Inventory when Creating a Rental or Delivery Job: We are in the process of making it easier for you to have a holistic view of your inventory during the order entry process. As a first step, when creating a delivery job (either as part of Rental creation or a subsequent delivery on an existing Rental), if you enter a Quantity value that is greater than the number of units of that product currently available, we will highlight the row to be yellow and present a waring icon.

Mousing over the warning icon will display a message stating "Selected quantity exceeds current stock. Proceeding may oversell."  This warning is purely informational and does not block any workflows

Ability to create a Delivery for a Product with an Availability of Zero: We have made an update to allow you to create a delivery job for a Product with Availability of zero or less. This will help provide a more consistent order entry experience.

Closed Rentals

Remove Rental Association when Rental is closed: When a rental is Closed (all units picked up), we are now automatically removing the rental association from any items that were associated with the rental even if they were not explicitly selected on the pickup job.

Inventory Billing Update

Billing based on planned quantity instead of delivered quantity: We have made an update that billing on rentals will be based on the planned number of units instead of the number of units delivered (as entered by the driver when completing the delivery job).

This mirrors the billing experience that existed prior to the introduction of the "Count of Units" input boxes on delivery and pickup jobs.

As a reminder, you can see any delivery jobs where the number of units moved does not match the planned number of units in the "Jobs with Missing Items" table on the dashboard.

Accounting List Improvements

All Accounting Lists Default to Show Most Recent Item First: We've updated all lists within the Accounting space (eg. Ready for Invoice, Invoices, Refunds, etc.) so that those lists will default to show the most recent transactions at the top of the list. You can still sort 'A -> Z' if needed, but it will now take fewer clicks to find your recent transactions.

Invoice List Remembers Your Last 'Sort By' Choice: We're in the process of making it easier for you to use your accounting lists. The goal is to get all accounting lists in a place where ServiceCore remembers your last sorting and filtering selections when you click away and then back into your accounting lists (like your list of invoices, refunds, etc.). As a first step ServiceCore will now remember your last 'Sort By' selection on your Invoices list from either your account-wide or company-specific Invoice view.

Schedule Performance Optimizations for Real Time updates

We've optimized the schedule real time driver updates to keep schedule load times low while you get all the real time data from your drivers. This should have no impact to your schedule views.

Read Only Role Enhancement

Users with the Read Only role will now have the ability to view the schedule.

Fixes

Job/Inventory Relationship Remains After Inventory is "Checked in": We have fixed an issue where future jobs could not be deleted after the completion of a pickup job due to an continuing relation to an inventory item.
