Better Visibility for Accounting Period Controls
We've added a new permission to make it clearer who has ability to change transactions from a closed accounting period. Previously managed under the "Invoice History" permission, this specific access now has its own line in your permission grid. This update ensures that transaction date restrictions across the platform are fully aligned with your team’s assigned roles. We’ve automatically mapped this new permission, "Closed Accounting Period", to the roles that already had it, so all roles will continue to have the same editing capabilities they’ve always had.
Fixes
Send Status Updates on Failed Payments Via Nightly Sync: We’ve improved the Payment Nightly Sync so that customers now receive an email notification when a payment fails to fund. Previously, updates to a Rejected status did not trigger an email. This ensures you’re always informed when a payment does not go through.
Recurring Invoice and Product Quantity Consistency: We corrected an issue that was throwing off the inventory quantity on recurring invoice templates when exchange jobs were completed with a delivery quantity of at least 1, and a pickup quantity of 0. The recurring invoice template will now properly capture this exchange scenario.
Order of Line iItems on Invoices: We corrected an issue that was leading to line items getting added to invoices (generated from recurring invoice templates) in a different order than they had historically. All line items will now populate on invoices as they historically have. The rental rates and template service line items will show first, and then the services related to jobs in order.
Bulk Reassign Failures During Late Evening Hours: We corrected an issue that was causing job reassignments that included updates to “This and Following” jobs to revert the reassignment.
Applying updated dates to “This Job and Following” job series not updating the series: We corrected an issue impacting recalculating jobs dates in a series when updating the date of a job in a recurring job series and choosing to apply the change to “this job and all following ‘Scheduled’ jobs". As a reminder, to update a series please update the 'Repeat Job Schedule' within a job in the series and apply changes to This and Following.
Copying a Completed Job with Inventory: We corrected an issue that was causing the inventory section to not display correctly, when copying a completed job with inventory.
Customer Notes rendering on driver’s daily route sheets: We’ve removed the reference to customer notes in the daily route sheet, customer notes should never display in the daily route sheet.
